Hi all..
Me again..
Dash bulbs this time!!
From research, it seems the kit MSA sell is too long for a 240z and hence there are many stories of people having issues with flickering bulbs (seems the glass bulb bit is too long and so means the connection for the ground isn't always touching - some people seem to think it's ok filing the glass down a bit but I'm weary!!)
I like the idea of going higher power 4 Watt over the original 3.2ish Watt (am going to use a headlamp/parking light relay kit so there should be capacity in the system) but want a bulb that's going to fit perfect.
The US guys recommend a bulb (the 12V 4W G3-1/2 Mini Bayonet Base EiKO A-72) but the companies which sell this in the US do not ship international..
Anyone here used a bulb which has worked? While the dash is out I'd rather do this now instead of reaching behind it on my back at a later date!!
Cheers!
Rob
