Beautiful work Dan.....now enjoy!
Took the car to a show at MIRA Friday despite the weather being rubbish, about 40 cars turned up from people who are based on site.
Great work Dan!! Congrats!!
And such a nicer car than your original - you bounced back brilliantly fella!
Well done, it looks great.
Had her out yesterday, gave it a quick clean although still needs a good mop..!
Looks like a 70 Chevelle in the background? Nice
Don't get him started on USA cars! His dad has lots of them and a business selling them/parts!
Good spot, original SS from Canada has it since I was 16..! Didn’t look like that then though..
Going to a show/auto jumble this morning around Desford - hoping to spot some Z’s...
Been out in her quite a bit over the weekend, just got my new fuel sender from Mike @MJP so fitted it on the ramps at work whilst I had some down time.
The old one was stuck and leaking from the sending wire mount point.
I need to just get the speedo gear working correctly now - I believe it needs spacing closer to the gearbox but need to order the correct gear before I do this.
All those pics are great - underneath and engine bay especially. Did the car have the engine tray or did you buy it? I'd like one but £££
Fortunately it came with it, I just had it shot blasted and powdercoated along with everything else.
Car looks spot on. Did you paint the block yourself? What paint did you use?
Love this car
Stunning car!!!! Is that a Z Story exhaust I see?
This looks spectacular!
I wish mine looked that clean underneath
Hi Geoff, yes it’s a GM or Chrysler Blue, it’s a slightly shade or two bluer than original but closest I could find in a can locally.
Yes it is, it’s one of Sean’s exhausts and it sounds splendid..!
Thanks Woody, your car looks fantastic, I quite fancy an early vented tailgate Z....
I've got a series 1 rolling shell I could part with. Very solid with no welding.
Drop me a pm buddy, may already have one lined up BUT it’s not really the right time for me atm... might look next year a little harder
