Can anyone tell me where to find the stamped-in number on a 1993 ZX UK car? There's nothing on the bulkhead in the engine compartment where the manual says (or anywhere else I can see). The chassis number plate near the radiator is fine. Got to take car for inspection to local DVLA and they need to see both. Thanks.

Many thanks. I've looked in all the suggested places with no joy. The VIN plate at the front of the car is fine but I'm looking for the number that's supposed to be stamped into the chassis metalwork. The manual shows where it should be but nothing there! Had the car 11 years and from a reputable source so pretty sure it's not been messed with. V. mysterious!
