Champion ally radiator

I've just treated myself to a new Champion 3 ore aluminum rad. however there are two holes in the bottom with pipes coming out. can anyone tell me what these are for as there not on the original rad.

It's the cooler for automatic transmission fluid. I would guess

mm mine's a manual. i think something should have been supplied to blank them off as i've just looked at their website and they all seem to be the same, but nothing else was in the box!

If it's similar to the rads on 280's then no coolant flows through this so they don't need blanking off. The pipes are for the Auto box fluid.

Cheers Huw your right just filled the rad with water and sure enough it's a separate section, wonder why i didn't think to do that before !

A lot of the alloy rads for the 240Z come with the auto cooler at the bottom there is not many that don't
