thanks for the support, I have actually decided to lower the price on the 2 remaining air boxes, 1 silver, one black. Either one is $600 US. I need some new equipment and need some funds. Thanks

This airbox does bring cooler air in from the front of the rad, is quite a bit lighter, has a certain WOW factor for some and is overpriced, in the view of most people. It looks like the objectives of the designer were met, fitting it into the allowed space and maximizing air horn length over other designs. Beyond that, what other considerations were taken into account or what kind of test data was collected such as dyno results or magnehelic pressure guage readings? Just curious of how benefitial this airbox would be to someone trying to maximize performance.
