Hi Derrick,
After seeing the finished article today i had to see pictures of what you started with.
Got to say you have done a first-class job,to get it to the standard you have is barely believable, under bonnet it looks like a new car from the factory!.The welding is as good as any i,ve seen yet you are self-taught. As a Painter my self i know you only get a good finish if you put the time and effort into it,whoever you used to paint it should also be proud of their efforts.
You must be chuffed to bits with the end result!.

Was really nice to meet you today, many thanks for the wheel and strut,i can now get out on the road without the risk of being stuck following a puncture.Hope you find a new project soon.

PS.
I only picked up a radiator and headlight washer bottle from Fairford so will get in touch about other items.

Kind regards,
Andy.

anyone still looking;)

Yes, I'm still looking and that's a massive job. There is a huge difference between a clean engine bay and an 'as new' one.

The Steering Rack conversion I found interesting and I'm sure other 280ZX owners would have done too.

I bet your MoT man was impressed with the car!
