It might have been better for them to have postpone it until later in the year though really, particularly as there was no accomodation other than camping before May 17th anyway...? Still a real shame for everyone who planned to attend,

2022 it is then, at least the 510 might be on the road by then.

Although I bought tickets I still knew this could never go ahead. Very surprised when they announced it was on. At least they got some revenue from ticket sales which should keep them alive until things get going again.

I am gutted this is off as I was going to bring the new grey 260z out to play.

 

Bollocks! I was going to the barn this weekend to open up the Carcoon for the first time since Oct 2019 to start getting the red Z recommissioned. Got new oil and filter at the ready. Looks like it stays in its bag a bit longer then.

Another weekend in the garage at home working on Dixie.

No surprise for this to be cancelled but a big shame. I haven't seen any other Z's (well, the older ones) since Donington in 2019 and I desperately need to look at other people's cars to see how they have done theirs! Hopefully later in the year.

 

Too much faff to just take it out for a quick drive tbh. It's a non-rigid Carcoon, so can't just drive it out, plus its blocked in with parts boxes and Chris' brown 280zx. Need to have a rearrangement though at some point so I can get at it when I want, given Chris is in Portugal now for the moment. Might be adding extra toys to the fleet soon anyway, so more space may be required..
