Just out of curiosity: is there any record of a failed stock crankshaft dizzy drive?
All I know is that the drive of the distributor spindle can shear off.

yeah, my drive gear split at the keyway and chewed the drive spindle.
I believe it to be quite common with higher revs.

I think he said he has them made in France.
Mmmmmm.

Had this email from Kameari

"
sorry.

I don't have bronze products.

If it is a genuine Nissan sintered alloy, I have it.

Are there any benefits to bronze products?"

so are the failures just cheaper aftermarket replacements?
