Having fitted new Toyota calipers, and since then , having a spongy peddle, what was assumed was air in the system, Im now thinking it's actually the master cylinder that's failed.
The pedal was initially soft but did stop about half way down, having bled the front brakes several times and even the rears just to satisfy my curiosity, the pedal can now be slowly pushed to the floor, which i believe is a classic sign of failing/failed seals in the master cylinder
there are no leaks and the fluid levels are constant.
Can someone confirm if failure does indeed appear to be the case please?
