Just a quick note to say well done and hearty congrats to Steve and the other organisers of Billing ... what a superb showcase for the Japanese cars that we're so passionate about.

What a shame the rain had to come at presentation time <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> - but apart from the Saturday night weather, I had a great time, even Mrs John-Boy has given the sign off for a return visit! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Special thanks also Monie for feeding us both on Saturday night, the hangover on Sunday morning was bad enough, but had it not been for your impromptu bbq, there could have been additional stomach turmoil to add to the bad head! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

The last time I attended the show was in 1993 - blimey, how things have progressed since then!

I guess the biggest disappointment of the weekend, was realising how much money I need to spend on my car to keep up with the leading lights!  <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>

Well see told you had got better up there.. since 1993 when you last went in our Celica!!! oh well at least you beat me and actually made in a zed!!!  one day mate only my 9th Go maybe in a Zed next year (I know I said that last year)
But big thanx to everyone who looked out for my darling little Kane Yes that Kid in the muddy puddles... it is very difficult to enjoy things like that being a single mum... but with you guys all watching out for him it made this year one of the best I have attended. Also thanx to those who helped eat the BBQ as one had slightly over packed on the food front (nah guessed John-Boy would not be organised!&#33<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>. But of course BIG THANX to uncle pmac for sorting out something for me and I hope you enjoy that little bottle of San Miguel one left you...

Everyone who went to Billing was a winner, cos they took part in the biggest and best Zed event this side of the Atlantic for many years.
No one person should be singled out really for the top prize, for even the guys who work for Billing cleaning and mopping the toilet blocks were stars in their own right,but I have a sneaking suspiscion that without the 1000Kilo watt driving force of the Flying Pig (Mr Steve Burns) the whole event might have disintigrated into last years chaos.
So lets hear it from ALL of you who attended.

very unexpected, I thought i'd never stand a chance amongst some REALLY nice 240Zs, and thought there would be quite a few that would turn their noses up at an engine conversion like mine!
