You don't get it do you guys !

With a system that one can switch off - it's hairy-chested old-time sportscar driving when you want, and smooth, precise assisted when you want !

When mine is switched off - the steering is a per a standard 240Z...except that I don't have any steering wobble and bump-steer but is that down to new parts throughout ?

Best of both worlds - agreed Dave ?

Yes Sean i agree if you do not want any PAS you can turn it off best of both worlds.

Right you northern queen - I DO remember you taking mine to look for a baguette or something - I bet you squeezed in between cops and traffic - did you have the PS on or not - did you switch it off and on to feel the difference ? You have to feel it coming into a fast corner - flick/flick - you're through and you concentrated on the best and tightest line instead of tugging that wheel then having to push back 'cos you pulled too hard too slowly.........

What size wheels and tyres do you have, lowered suspension ?

What you chaps forget is that back in those pre-armpit shaven days of real men, they fitted 6x14s and even went as far as 195s.......things have evolved on Zs except your steering - oh alright, some of you fit a cute coupler and praise heaven but it's hardly rocket science.

Of course, some of you only do powerful, straight lines so why carry extra weight ?

I wouldn't say "squeezed in between", but I certainly slowed when the three Gendarme on bikes pulled up behind me

No Sean, I left the power steering on. I'm not saying I don't like it, I just prefer it standard. I also prefer to keep it fitted with an L series engine, but I think an S13/S14 gearbox upgrade I'd like.

Wheel size is 14's, tyre profiles are 65's I think.

As my z is a hybrid V8 I am not concerned about the originality as the damage (if you are that way inclined) has been done.
Apart from the banter (which always makes me laugh) this was really helpful.
Cheers.
