Hi all

As I don't know a great deal about these cars I would really like to read up on them so I can understand how the cars changed throughout production. Hopefully this will help me when looking at a potential purchase. Also any books on restoration would also be very useful.

Many thanks

The Ray Hutton, James Morris and Colin Shipway books aren't so bad either and especially when considering when the first two were published. The third being written by this clubs' own previous treasurer and archivist.

Not much of a reference book but I enjoyed reading through "Nissan, 50 years of exhilarating performance" by Pete Evanow ISBN 978-0-7603-6713-1

Quite a lot of history and touches on S30 in the book quite a bit.

I think that's a perfect example of style over content. Just packed full of lazy mistakes:

Evanow, the publishers and ultimately Nissan themselves have no excuse for this. Evanow wrote a similar book 15 years previously and that too was full of mistakes, misapprehensions and just bizarre viewpoints.

It had nice pictures though and I enjoyed it even with the mistakes. Made a good birthday pressie from Granny!
