Hello,

Ok back onto this as well, thread specific to the banner development, please find ABOVE links to the current banner development.

I'm looking to keep some space for advertisment in the banner until the forum can be integrated with the main site when we might be able to create a 'block' to handle advertising, should bring us in some more revenue.

We all agreed the pics I used of the cars were mainly naff, so if you have pics of your or any car in reasonable resolution that all face the same way (which direction this is is yet to be decided) then e-mail them to Russ@RussTaylor.co.uk please.

Anyway comments and suggestions so I can get the ball rolling again...

Here you are Steve, figured out how to do it (thank you Animation Shop Pro&#33<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>.

All we need now are DECENT pics of cars, all facing the same way in flattering colours and of reasonable resolution and I'll integrate it into rev 0.3 of the banner for approval/suggestions/slating <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Steve Lack has come up with idea that at billing this year the photos of the winners of the bestZ/ZX awards could be lined up in exactly the same ange and then used in the banner.
each year at billing this could be done and the banner changed each year

Quite like the idea of using

and having the owners name and model come up ie

"JAE 2003 Best Z/ZX awards"
"joe bloggs"
"260Z"

instead of just 240Z etc

think it would look really good if all the cars were lined up in exactly the same way and would also show at a glance all the models that the club caters for as the outlines of the unfeatured cars and owners are always on show at all times

would be like a extra prize for each of the class winners for the year and would let members connect the cars to the owners

the only problem that i can see is wiyh 10 or 11 awards would they all fit in at a viewable size?

I have been meaning every day to ring Steve to thank him for the photos, they are really good stuff, I MUST do it later.

Tis a good idea adding the name, class winner etc details, would look excellent I think and show club involvement <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
