I saw the programme and enjoyed it as usual - simple stuff,

I now know who Andy Plant is. Knew of him and his work, in fact spoken to him but never seen him.

Not commenting on the Z Farm.

Like the amazing regenerating Sea Sponge when it loses a piece of itself through injury, when a VIN of a RHD Zed falls off, it can grow an entirely new Zed around it, identical to the original. Incredible.

:)

I think it this case - The white wide arched sea sponge was rapidly shedding limbs and maybe the VIN plate would’ve been all that was goi g to remain.
I’m sure it found another sea sponge to host it …

Wow that's pretty blatant - shame we don't recognise the white car, would be interesting to see where the old numberplate turns up.

maybe the current owner removed the VIN to ensure it can't be used on a ringer.

I suspect the vin was previously used on another car and as scrap shells are now becoming valuable, it may as well get sold for panel clips. Including it with a LHD shell gives you some parts to convert to RHD, although not many. It still has a value. Yellow car looks pretty good.
