Now thats funny:rofl: but the sad thing is its true. Nobody here in N I uses the road numbering system we just call them by their names and there are some really weird and wonderful road names, mine being one of the stranger ones. Many people couldn't even say what their road number is. I did hear Randalstown mentioned there which is where I live.

Never been to Antrim before, Isn't Ballymena Ian Paisley country  And its marching season

I take it I'll be safe enough in the hotel having a few quiet pints

you shouldn have any probs jay, its a lot quieter than it used to be despite the media reports, hotels are generally as safe as in the south. Its the local bars in some areas you have to be carefull in. Marching season has started but they are on pre approved routes and cars are usually kept away. 12th of july is the big one, can be difficult to get around that day. You are not to far from the show where you are staying and andrew lives nearby also.

Trish, Paul isn't coming up tho Ballymena now, so just you and your sister on your own. Did you make arrangements to meet Joe at Sprucefield. Would be much easier for you as you wouldn't have the worry of finding my place.

i had a fantastic day as did my sister, i got to drive andrews 240 on the open roads:D:driving::D and yes i do know how privileged i am, it was a great show the diversity of the cars was super, only drawback was the dusty hard standing that the club stands were on.

i will definitely be back next year
