    Hey all,

After some advice for my daily, fitted new lower ball joints on my nissan 350z and it just failed it's MOT due to excessive movement in the ball joint. They have been tightened fully to spec but they do seem very "loose" compared to the original units. Should they offer more resistance and is this the cause?

Tried to capture it on video below.

I’d buy another genuine or good quality aftermarket join and replace one of them and see how it is them.
From your video it looks like it’s got way to much play

Looks like the play is between the taper on the joint and the lower arm. If the arm is worn the nut bottoms out on the taper and will never get tight.
Compare with other side and look at number of threads above nut.
