Back in Black!

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let you know that Santa delivered his goodies on Christmas Eve, and somehow managed to fit a new 300 (Z32) in his capacious sack for me <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'> Top man!

The details are (If you want to update the register, Steve):

1991 J-Spec 300 ZX TT Manual (Black)
99-spec front-end, veilside skirts, Paul bailey rear-wing and Monza nose-cone
18'' Kosei Snipers
5'' twin Greddy stainless exhaust (nice)
HKS Induction kit and blow-off valves, HKS turbo-timer and dormant digital speed controller???

Well chuffed to be back on the road Z-stylee, as you can imagine!!

There's a few bits to sort out (expect a call, Mike), but generally she's in really lovely shape, and looks the bizzo! Plenty of "interesting" Japanese History too ... any japanese speakers in the club??

Apologies if I've been a bit quiet, but I've been camping chez-parents for the festive season and denied the joys of ADSL!

Happy new year to everyone!

CheerZ,
Chuffed-John-Boy <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

As the season of goodwill to all men(and zed owners) draws to a close let me be the first to congratulate you on the arrival of your new Fairlady beast.
It all sounds VERY impressive.Enjoy it while you may as doubtless it will soon drop into safe mode or leave you stranded in the pub car park surrounded by 25 other 300ZX owners none of whom have the faintest idea how to get it going again.
BTW &nbsp;Venezuela is giving up petrol production soon.!!!
PS &nbsp;dont forget to renew your AA Relay membership!!! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
PPS. &nbsp;Season of goodwill now oficially ended <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>

Hey pmac, thanks for the congratulations ....

Kinda comforting to know that the season of "goodwill" is over, and normal service has been resumed!!

Well, it may not have occurred to someone so deeply rooted in the past, but one of the major advances of new technology has been the increase in reliability <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'> (Oh my God, what am I saying??) ... but, as a former 260/280 owner, I know all about the value of a subscription to the Automobile Association.

Having said that, I have no doubt that I'll soon be extending that extended overdraft for repairs ... perhaps I should have stuck with the courtesy Corsa <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> , but then again, maybe not!

CheerZ,
John.

Hello darlin'

Well, you've got me banged to rights there - what can I say? <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

It's a bit much taking pmac's side though, he's already been proven right this year (although she's back on song today) .. he certainly doesn't need any extra support!

I do seem to remember prolonged periods of non-zedding, however, where the cars were malingerring in various garages, waiting to have things done! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

As for the next meet, I'm not sure - it would be nicer to have some better weather to appreciate our cars in, but I'll keep you posted. <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

CheerZ,
John.
