Anyone used these on a Z?

Why would you want to use these? The Z has splined fittings anyway. These are to convert older cars to spline fitting from a plain shaft, and they don't work very well either, they slip on the shaft no matter how hard you tighten the screw

Zs have a very small spline and new arms are £000s if you can find them, Lucas arm (Tex) are £10 each, I am sure with a proper grub and dimple you'd get a good grip.

Thats right, the Z has a small tapered spline and the arm is secured with a nut. Most modern cars have the same fitting and I am sure some arms would be a comparable size to the original Z ones, a far better solution to the spline converters which would entail adapting the Z mechanism anyway ( and still wouldn't work successfully)
