Anyone think these are a good idea

It's always a good idea to have a front screen. It gets a bit blowy inside the car if you don't have one.

I'm sure they are cheaper than this in the UK.

Ricky Evans Motorsport, they make the heated screens, it's not in their online catalogue but they will make a normal one

That's who I was going to use. When I last spoke to them they were waiting for a batch of normal ones and had the heated version in stock at around £250.

Great, they are quite close to me - good link, thanks.

Heated is the way to go if I need one in my blue car.

I don't find the demisting is a Z very good (compared to a modern car) but the heater is ok.

Now we need to get them to do rears.

I think thats a lot more to do with the power, or rather lack of, of the blowers than the heater side of things,
but yes, a heated screen would defo be my choice if i was replacing it anyway
