Last Saturday I bought myself another zed, which sparked off the hasty sale of the yellow car. Picked the car up today and did a swap over in the workshop as the yellow car heads off to the Netherlands tomorrow.
I think the car has been in the club a while and has quite a few mechanical mods which is what attracted me to the car initially. Ive not had much of a look over the car but the spec sounds pretty good. Four ways built the sectioned struts and did the vented disk conversion. Oselli built the over bored 2.8 engine, which has only done a couple of thousand miles ago. It's running 45's and a four ways modified dizzy with msd ignition. Gearbox feels nice although the padle clutch is a bit heavy. It also has a nismo lsd which you can feel on tight corners. Interior has been trimmed in black leather and it has sparco rev's. An autometer tachometer and shift light along with oil temp gauge plus a front line lock complete the interior. All the original equipment has also been supplied amongst other bits a pieces. The paintwork is generally good but has a few chips and bit that could do with being touched up. First impression is the car is pretty solid but I will need to have a good dig around to be sure. The suspension is a bit too low at the back and maybe a little high at the front so I'll have a play tomorrow when I get back from dropping the yellow car off.
I've no idea what I'm going to do with the car but would like to take it down the strip a few times to get an idea on the extent of engine mods. So basically a bit of a tidy up and use the thing.
