Use it every day and it'll be a pile of valuable rust when a couple of years have gone by.

Just like a Z then.

Kinda cool. I'll stick to the Celica though - sportier and less land yacht!

Thinking of other Toyotas, I wouldn't mind a TE27 Levin though, or a MA60/61 Celica XX or Celica Supra...

I love that shape Supra but don't like the wheels on that one!

A friend of mine had an 83 Supra in a lock up for 17 years and then sold it for £200 about 2 years ago when he wanted to knock down the garage. Apart from a small hole in the tailgate and a little rust behind the rear wheel on the drivers side, it wasnt in bad nick. The engine still turned over by hand but all the rubber stuff had disintegrated. If I had had space to store and work on it, I would have bought it off him. That was a steal at £200!

Funnily enough the Supra is next to a Camero upn which I believe the TA22 was based.

I have those same Tosco wheels awting my Celica...:coolgleam:

Someone around this neck of the woods (East Cheshire, North Staffs) actually has a dark green TE27 Levin - I’ve seen it several times on the road running from Macc down through Leek towards Ashbourne. It sets off my JDM Spidey Sense - on more than one occasion, it’s popped into my head, and then within 5 mins I’ve seen it driving the other way!

That white Supra I pictured above isn’t actually a Supra. In Japan, the MA61 Celica Supra was preceded by the Celica XX. If you look, it has rounded steel arches (although flared in the pic) not the big, plastic squared off ones on the Supra. I quite like that look actually. Dash is different too I think - doesn’t have the 80s futuristic digital stuff.
