following the response to the post re is billing getting too big, here is another topic to chew over. what is the criteria for a Z to be in the class of race car. To be in the 240z class the car has to be a 240z, the same goes with 260z, 2602+2, 280z etc. to be in the concourse class the car has to abide by certain rules even to the point where it has to be driven to the show. Should the race car class not have rules as well, or maybe it does already. A race car to my mind is a car that is used for motorsport competition? ie Autotesting, circuit racing, hillclimbing, sprinting, rallying, drag racing. There are quite a few cars that are built and prepared for competition and regulary compete all over the country. My suggestion is that to be eligable to be judged in the racecar class the car must have competed in at least one recognised motorsport event in the previous 12 calender months before the annual awards. Your thoughts on this would be interesting

An active competitor will have an MSA licence - why not simply ask for this to be displayed in the windscreen of eligible race cars?
