It's the fiddly bits that cost the time !

You aint kidding, just putting the rear interior panal on was crazy, all the holes lined up accept two...:conf2: I have a spare panel so I doulble checked and thats the same.. . To add insult in loads of time waisted mine were screwed on, yes there were genuine Nissan clips on the brackets and some had threads already in the bracket and yet im told, they all had plastic retaining clips...:conf2: Am I fook going to cut the brackets off and re- weld them in the position I want...will have to think about it over a bottle of plonk.;)

No complaining from me dude, 240Z estates sorry 2+2's need all the help they can get, bless them.

Enhance your chuckle bus all you want (polish, cad plating, furry dice, spinners, string backed driving gloves, bead seats etc) but at the end of the 1/4 mile you will still be looking at the brake lights of a blue carbon clad 240Z........ although you may of course need binoculars.

If trying to have a car that looks presentable at every angle including underneath makes it a “chuckle bus” then that is obviously what I have achieved in your eyes. Maybe I should have taken a leaf from your book and hidden holes with Carbon fibre and just shoveled a little more underseal underneath to hide the rust holes. Still….. I guess underseal is lighter than steel!.....

"trying" being the operative word there except you forgot to add "but failing miserably" onto the end

The only angle that the 2+2 look presentable from is the obtuse one;) .

And as for filling in holes, we are working on carbon fibre gobstoppers....next, I have you down for a box:p :p :p

Underseal, well, its a well known way of preserving the inherant value that well restored 240's have....so you'll not be needing any then

Just think how fast a carbon fibre 2+2 could be made to go. Don't you fancy a challenge Steve!?
