I planned to refresh the 240z brake drums with aluminium paint (currently it has a sad aluminium/silverish paint finish). But hang about, the outer casing of the drum is aluminium.
1) Did the drums of 240z's etc come out of the factory without a paint finish ?
2) Does your car have the bare aluminium OR have you painted the drums ?
3)If you have bare aluminium is it a nice oxidised patina ?
By the way, I found out that some other marque classic car owners (some Morgans and TR triumphs) use the S30 drums because they are finned aluminium and better than what their cars came with.
