Alternator Upgrade

Hi All
I was thinking of upgrading the alternator to a 60amp one on my 73 240z, unfortunatly MSA's upgrade alternator/kit is only good for a z upto a 72. Anyone know why there's a diffrence and why it wouldn't be suitable and do I have any other options?

As far as I am aware there are no significant changes on a UK 240Z that would prevent you using the kit.
I have a version available for cash (recon alternator plus adapter plug) saved for a customer who never collected. Call me...

I have the MSA kit fitted to my '73 240, and it works perfectly
