Ive had a few 300zxs

From what your saying it's possible eithe vacuum line is off

Or

The fact you have 2 inlet manifolds doesn't mean you can run 2 induction cones !
The 2 inlets actually share the one MAF sensor located under the centre panel between the head lamps
This could very well be the problem if both inlets air getting different air pressure ...
I'm not sure if your turbo or non turbo but I'm sure it applies to either set up
Gathering what your saying I'm assuming it's non turbo as this wouldn't be possible to run this setup you have with an inter cooler ...

Reverse engineer what you have done I'm sure there is 2 vacuum lines which you have prob left off

If its not that

Put the original piping back on and check that if you disconnect the piping on the passengers side
Do you start getting the same problem

I'm sure it's down to different pressures in the inlet or vacuum hoses

Just the change of filters shouldn't do that.
Something else must have been disturbed - vacuum advance cable?

Hmm ... In that case do you think you could have
Damaged the maf changing it over ... ?

If still look to see if a vacuum pipe is off
Although there's none at the maf it's still possible
It was knocked off somewhere else ...

This might sound silly but if your low on petrol
My z32 use to idle lumpy until I put a fuel injection cleaner
Through The tank with quarter tank of petrol after this it was fine
And that happend in the space off leaving it idle on the fuel light
Starting it and stopping it without driving and the engine untouched
i looked around didn't see anything wrong

The only thing I did was I had disconnected the fuel line
Passengers side to fit a strut brace a few days earlier but
It was fine up to that point ...

Ran the stp injection cleaner and was perfect then
Might be an option .. Could be dirt or an air bubble in on the lines going to
On of The injectors
