So, finally I got a proper response from Silvermine:
This is more than annoying. They advertise their camber plates as "bolt in" with no modificationis besides a little grinding of the spring hat needed. It took me 4 emails back and forth to receive this answer.. and before buying, all he said is "it works well". Not the best seller practice.

They are beautifully made
Around 200-220 €.As a matter of interest how much did they cost 'landed' at your house?
This makes me thinking. @franky I think there's no thrust bearing, right? There's only the spacer between the pillow ball and the spring hat? This way the pillow ball takes all the loads, but I think that's fine.
I like this approach, this could be easily done with stock springs, too.
Around 200-220 €.

QUESTION.
when you fit any of these top mounts, do we launch the big rubber top cushions?
I fitted coilovers years back but kept the big pads in place. Not sure if o need them?
And with K-macs?with these you would.
I don't have any of the current set up but I've had a look in the Datsun Stores and found, the damper - spring hat - thrust bearing - adaptor - non adjustable spherical bearing top mount I was using, I have to stress this was all used with a 2-1/4" ID spring and not the OEM style/size of spring and its years, 20+, since I had the OEM stuff on my car so having familiarised myself with it we might have a solution for you......
.......using the OEM spring hat and the OEM thrust bearing with an adaptor, similar to the one I was using, onto the spherical bearing in the new top mounts you have?
