Going to get a new braided s/steel clutch line made up too, directly from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder with banjo fittings, to save faffing around with those ****** already rounded nuts on there!

Also braided will outlast the car, rubber hose is bound to be ****, and hard metal line might as well go with it.

Anyone done this?
:).

This website also gives inclination that all 3 are interchangeable.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439065168.101722.jpg

The only difference I have been able to find so far is that the one specifically on the 280zx from oem was of a slightly larger bore.

Still fits though. According to the websites.

Going to try my luck for £20 something for a brand new delphi one.

Do not need repair panels, my classic welding expert can make them up and shape them by hand exactly as he needs them, if any are needed.

Also the direct braided clutch line that I am getting made up from master cylinder to slave cylinder, would anybody be interested in one of these if I had a few made?

Let me know.

Thanks.

Yh lol.

Would dare ruin the body on this baby by having a go myself!

I will be doing minor bits to the body, mainly all the donkey workbut this car deserves an expert to tend to the rust and welding.etc.

I will be soing everything else myself though.

Mr Muscle,

Without reading all the comments - I had a similar problem with my thermostat sender - just ground the sender wire to the metal parts of the car and watch the gauge it should sweep round. If not, it's you gauge or wiring. Given the state of your thermo housing, I'm willing to bet it's your sender. Get one with the little housing nut that goes around it as they often join each other in matrimony for life. I got mine from the z store I believe.

Don't forget Mike Feeny at MJP Eastern, he often has this stuff on his shelves, so you won't have to wait weeks for it to arrive.

I did not make the title,
But you would be incorrect.
An oxymoron is where 2 contradictory words are used in conjuction in the same sentence.
For example, "She was really good at being a really bad cook.
I was only having a laugh because in my book "nice looking" and "wide bodied" are contradictory statements! But I am delighted you are returning it back to a more original look and I wish you every success with it Antonio. It looks like a big job!

Thanks very much guys.

In paricular smiley inside, would you please be able to tell do Ineed my car running or just my ignition live on please?

Also, assuming the test works andbthe gauge moves, should I just buy a new temp sensor?

Many thanks, Antonio.

I'd be interested in a couple of clutch hoses
Cheers, Mark.

It is costing me about £40 with coversion of the currency from usd to gbp.

Shall I get mine first then post pictures?

Then you can decide if you would like one?

I am getting mine with a transparent blue coating on the outside so you can still see the steel braided line.

You can get them with all colour coatings on including clear.

Hi smiley inside. Just tried it. At first it did not work, but then cleaned the contact on the wire going to the temp sensor and put it to ground again and you must be a genius!! Because yes it swept right round.

Going to try it later with the contacts now cleaned.

If still does not work then I will buy a new temp sensor.

Many thanks! :).

Been measuring up all the hoses in the engine bay this morning with my digital calipers as could not find a kit on line that gave a complete set (fuel, water, vacuum).

Got my digital calipers out so got to be right.

Plus point is, is that those ****** oem philips screw jubilee clips can go for some nice new stainless ones!

If anyone is interested in a full set, let me know, I might be able to make a few for sale.
