Going to order a new waterneck and switch to electronic ignition from a 280zx. Along with a performance epoxy coil, most probably pertronix.

280zx distributor fits with the 280zx distributor mount. Not with the 260z distributor mount.

Also on the drivers side where the speaker is, I have the speaker wires, then I also have a spare pair of black wires that are joined together in the same plastic coating, and they come out near the gear knob but not connected at any end.

Does anyone know what these are for?

Done quite a bit today.

Especially with regards to alignment of the headlight adjustment screws. What a pita!!! Got there in the end though, now to a point I am happy with and the adjustment screws can be accessed! :).

I made studs with a large surface area head and fibreglassed them into the buckets so now they slide into the wings and bolt up from the back!!! :). Much better!!! :). Made them super super strong too and reinforced the buckets at the same time. They are really not going anywhere in a hurry!!! :).

I also made some studs and welded them onto the headlight metal cups, so that they too are easily removed and just slide into the wings and are bolted on through the back of the wings!!!!

Overall quite pleased!!!

:).

I also redid my fuel piles so i now believe that the touting is correct.

Does the overdlow tube actually exit though right near the offside rear tyre???

Seems a bit dangerous to have fuel possibly dripping onto the bck of a tyre.
I might re-route this more towards the back of the car.

Where does the other end go?

I expect much of the cars loom has been chopped about over the years so would need tracing back to its source. First thing that pops to my head is the switch on the handbrake but hard to get an idea from the photos

Hi Russell thank you for the input, yes it is for the handbrake I had already sorted it thanks to Rob Gaskin earlier.

Thankyou Rob!
