73 240z :) DaisyZ

Well I have been busy these past few months saving up and buying bits and putting them away and selling bits and scotching on a weekend to pay for my Dream

I had a Z mate called Steve stonehouse went over to buybsome Z bits for his project, while he was there he got offered a 240z that was for sale but had not been advertised yet. He messaged me that day and showed me photos and said here bloke number organise to go and view it

So weekend came and I had a real think and fort why not.lets go.over and see it

Well well who would of fort it I bid him a offer of 4.5k and he took it, was happy for me to pay 1k up front and work the rest out you have few months to sort out rest cash really really sound bloke Colin Dixon from Blackpool way really was happy for me to.buy it

So On Saturday just gone it came home over the moon I have bought my own 240z to Rhd and Modify to my heart content really looking forward to it

Looks like a steal for 4.5k - I'm guessing it needs some rust work from the sill?

It comes with 3x more doors and that's why one is off

It came without a bonnet but I have the bonnet of the 260z I stripped for Rhd parts this year

Yeah she has bit rust not ought like a UK zed tho

Boot floor area is all solid

Tailgate is all solid just around the glass there a few holes

Bonnet need bit work

Rear Arches need sorting but am.gunna put ZG Arches on

Wing bottoms door bottoms

Back.panel

Bulkhead has a few holes where Rhd stuff is going colum area

All pretty sortable with a welder steady away I'll get back on road

Be good get back on road in couple years time

She a good project am happy and over moon with what i have got

I do bodywork and paint and bought this to do well happy

Quite possibly with My own twist may make a metal spoiler yet will see what happens but I want Fender Mirrors too

Spoke to Kevin he gunna build the engine

I have a L26 am gunna get bored out to 86mm

Get a 80° cam

N42 head

Classic Z story back box and system no near time

Got some Atlas wheels awaiting payment

I already have 2x Rota Rkr

As I've said to you, given your trade, you are more than capable of sorting this car's issues out; while some DIYers would be taking on a bit much or facing steep pro bills, you'll be able to sort everything from metalwork to final paint in a rather cost-effective manner!

Been sourcing A lot of repair panels and interior panels and odd 240 bits to build her and have everything sorted

Will come.on nice now coming upto summer too

Been steady progress but she slowly becoming solid again

I have welded a floor in what's gunna be drivers side

Lot work involved as last American now get hell our of it

Bit inner sill work and she looking good


Cut sill off drivers side and got that tacked on

Just need take door off now and make it a lot easy to weld sill on
