need some help/ advice please my 1987 turbo starts on the button but will only run for
approx 10 minutes on tickover or until a quarter hot on temp guage then cuts out then will struggle to restart, initial issue started last summer car would run fine but after
stopping following driving would not hot start again until engine cooled down so as you can see problem has changed slightly from since initial hot start i assume it is all related . so far have changed coil, engine temp sensor, air regulator, fuel pressure regulator [all new] fuel pressure control module[under battery]and ecu unit, without any luck.any ideas for other areas to look into or if any one has had similar issues
i would be glad of the advice. i can be emailed direct on chba 18769@ BLUEYONDER
.CO.UK .

Hi mate
I had the same hot starting issue with my z31T years ago. It was down to heat soak causeing fuel evaporation at the top of the engine. It's a common issue with early z31's. The facelift models had the injector fan on them to cue the problem.
I'm not sure about your latest issue but, have you tried another airflow meter? Another common Z31 problem part.
