Nice bit of workmanship although I still don't understand the motivation/reason for all that stuff in a small car - village hall yes.

Looking at the positioning of the speakers I'm assuming that the system is designed to sound best when the rear hatch is open or is the sound 'bounced' off the rear glass? If you need the hatch open when do you use it?

Space - well my 370 has probably got less luggage space in it than you have and I don't have another 'practical' car. Again my factory fitted sound system is excellent (by my standards anyway) but takes up valuable space.

Even Nissan think the sound system is more important than a spare wheel or luggage space so I suppose I'm missing something here .

I thought all Z32 owners had an alternative car for that mundane stuff, like shopping, and school runs etc.

I do Nidge......

.....but I often like to take my 300zx on holiday; and since Julia does not understand the concept of "travelling light" I need room for two suitcases!! So one fills the boot and I squeeze the other behind the driver's seat!!

Plus my daily driver is just a 2-seater sports car;)

Nice install trying something like that but with a 32" lcd tv + ps3, how did you go on with the ABS UNIT in the boot? Did you move it or covered?
