New hatch window seals are now available again for 280ZX 2 seater, thought I would try one. When I rebuilt my car they were not available from anywhere. The 2+2 seals was and still is available but very pricey and don't fit. In the end I had to cobble together one from several old seals I scrounged - leaked like a sieve.
This new one is not an original Nissan part but the fit is very good, it was fairly easy to fit and the seal seems good. Not used any sealer but it doesn't seem to leak. The trim fits nicely apart from a slight gap on the lower corner trims. A spot of black silicon and its fine. Looks worse in the photo than it really was as I did manage the close the gap with some 'fettling' in the form of a rubber mallet.
