Hi, still doing small jobs to my 280zx. One important safety job on my list is the front seat belt anchors. The guy I purchased the car from changed the bottom section of the 2 front seats from another 280zx, the weird thing is the seat belt anchors that are fitted to these seats are too small and the seat belt cannot be inserted!!
He cant find the original ones from my car, he admits they must have gone in the bin and the belts from the donor car have been cut so I cant swap them out.
Its weird that the anchors are different sizes for the same make and model of the car. Problem is what to do and how to reference the original ones. I presume they were used in other Datsun cars of that era but which and how do I know what part number I need!!
