    it was an interesting read, seems it'll always have a marker, just one that removes the c/d and gives it another as an inspected car.

    Should classic cars be listed as 'inspected' when professionally valued ?

    I know that but why not ? It would attest to the quality of said car not only for insurance purposes but reduce the 'ringing' effect.

    Off topic slightly, however i'll oblige.

    Where would you take a car in this country to get it done? who would you or the club trust?

    Don't you have a recognised independant body/organisation of car valuers ?:eek:

    They're called 'experts' here and give an 'expertise', we have our own pet club one who is currently restoring his260Z.

    These are the guys who give owners their insurance valuations for agreed-value policies.

    Ours regularly visits clients with multimillion euro collections.

    Just export the dam thing then 're import it a month later that does the trick
