We all love resto pics. Don Muscles' were entertaining!
Its certainly a lot stronger now.
If you guys like the photos I'll keep posting updates. Its good for me to look back on and it might be useful to ones who are doing or thinking or doing a resto. Plus when you see parts like which are hidden it makes you think if you are doing a full restoration its probably worth cutting some inspection holes in such areas to make sure there is no hidden rust before you move on.
To be honest I get so much motivation from knowing I'll be able to drive it again once done, and I really love driving it. I can't wait.Hats off to you for all your dedication puts me to shame. Well done and it's all very inspiring.
Nice to see after such a while.Good progress, looking really good (& time consuming)!
Thanks, but I can't really take any credit, its all down to Dave @ Resto Shack.Great work Ian and some interning photos your really cracking on now
Yes and no I guess. You can get them from the link below, but they make them to order so I guess it was sort of made for me.did you have that rear arch /1/4 panel made for you ?
Really, really interesting Thread. It will end up a great car but at what cost?
If you include restoration costs plus purchase price its probably no more than buying a top level really mint UK RHD example now. But this one will have all the modifications, reinforcement and details I want.Really, really interesting Thread. It will end up a great car but at what cost?
Tell me about it, everyone who saw it described it as mint, and other than the few little areas I did know about I expected it to be at least fairly decent underneath. Makes you wonder how many cars out there that look mint are actually hiding sins underneath. The scary thing is how great your car looked before you started digging into it.
