Wouldn't get mine for that!

One thing to remember is that stock JDM Fairlady 2/2s have 2 litre engines (L20A) which seem not to be as desirable. I think one recently sold for around £16k at auction. Any with modifications to engine or gearbox etc are likely to attract a bit more for a tidy one although with the current situation it's difficult to tell.

I wouldn't say mine is in the best condition and I have upgraded to an L26 but I wouldnt consider parting with it for less than £19k.

For 16k you might need to do a little work but as always with these cars try to start with sound bodywork. You can always get mechanical bits but panels for a s30 2+2 are rocking horse s**t.

I think £16K will go a long way in getting something very nice but as @Farmer42 says, perhaps not the very best. I have an original UK RHD valued at +£20K

Thanks for the feedback , I am sure I will find one, just missed out on a blue one from a dealer which was fully restored and there is another from a Dealer at £16995, I have emailed him , but no reply as yet.
There are quite a few from Dealers in Netherlands, mostly left hand drive.
No rush at the moment , due to the current situation.
Hankering after one , as I had a lift in a red one way back in 1974 to a rugby match with my mate and the PE teacher.
I have had a few interesting cars from 1980 , I can’t find a fiat 131 supermirafiori sport , I had an orange one , only a year old and I smashed it the same night, lol.
I have had 2 Triumph Stags, first was a 1977 R Reg in 1984 , head gasket blew after 2 weeks, other one was white with beige interior.
The list goes on, as my search will.

Was the blue one down south? Is the second one also blue in Warwickshire?
