There's a couple of threads about fuel pumps but I thought i'd start a thread about options for the 240z. From what I understand all 240z had mechanical pumps fitted to the side of the engine. They also all had wiring installed to run an electric pump by the tank but no pump was fitted. Why is this? I know you can run both and if one breaks then the other will just carry on pumping fuel and keep you going. What's Nissan's reasoning behind this?
