Did you find time for measuring the reinforcement plate?

I did a bit of fabrication at the weekend to mount a 260Z fusebox in my 240Z. So whilst at it I did the choke mod. I never liked the flexing of the console and the fact that the choke lever cannot be used without the console.

I chose a different approach to sheet metal and happy with it. It's really firm - not flexing at all. I did a bit of Dremel work on the underside of the console so that the old 'lugs' didn't get in the way of the console 'seating' correctly.
