The fact that you like it, disproves your statement.

I wrote "seems" not absolute. Those who disapprove this item ( and there are many ) seem to want to influence those who like it with their constant negative remarks.

People are merely expressing personal opinions, you don't have to agree or be influenced by them.
I like ZG style flares and Rota wheels while others don't.
However, it doesn't seem like anyone is trying or wanting to influence me into not liking them, I can make up my own mind.

It's funny because If they'd produced something innovative and creative, you all would have pounced on it in a heartbeat.

I can't see anyone pointing out the obvious - it's for the American market. IIRC, there isn't any amber's for clear indication on them. And the rear upper quarters would be ideal for the many larger vehicles they have in the US for visability.

At the end of the day, I would agree that it's nice to see something different and someone trying to create mods for these old cars.

It would also have been nice as to introduce themselves and perhaps have asked for opinions - would save the embarrassment that this thread has turned into from both the perspective of forum users and future potential fabricators / innovators.

My personal opinion on the product would be that we all know what those vents are for, the car already suffers from potential fume problems. I certainly wouldn't want to drill my bodywork for little gain. Replaceable emblems with LED light embedded inside with only using the existing vent route with minimal disruption to the air flow and handy pigtail connection to the original loom? I see a potential location for an alarm indicator.

It's a mild mod that has divided some and shown how unfriendly this public forum can be. I remember posting about when I decided to use the small sidelights in my 7" headlights for indicators it didn't sit well with some.

How many of you have car-stereos with different colours, flasshing LEDS and 'angel-eye/halo' headlights, white-faced gauges and gimmicky engine-start buttons ?

You correctly stated earlier that taste is subjective, some people like these, some don’t.

Like ZG arches, deep-front spoilers and whatnot....

.....but none of the above are slated so let's remain open-minded and tolerant.:)
