240Z £21k : what is a 'foundation' restoration anyway ?

My Datsun late 240z reluctantly is now up for sale, this was one of the last to be imported before the change to 260Z

I planned to restore this car but due to change of circumstances the car needs to be sold.

The car was given a 'foundation' restoration by Fourways Engineering late last year.
This was to ensure the car ran well and made it mobile and safe to move about.
I have invoices to show the work but things like brake lines, brakes, tyres, engine work, starter motor, clutch, were done. There is spare panels to do the metal work.
The interior is worn but good and definitely useable to go again.
The Metal work is easily sorted by a resto person given time.

Foundation in my dictionary means basic structural work.....no ?

I would agree, foundation sounds like they've just done basic work to make the vehicle operational.

So it runs to move it about, but could have numerous issues with it. Unsure if 21k is a good price or not myself.
