240 / 260 / 280 and 2+2 kick plates

The recent sale got me thinking about replacing mine.

But I have seen them advertised as fitting all the above models.

So it got me thinking, sure the 2+2 spirting linger doors will have longer cills and therefore this item cannot fit the 2 seater and 2+2!? Or were the holes in cills left in the same place and the kick plates remained the same length?

I'll nip out and measure my 2+2 sill plates.

33" give or take a 1/4 inch.
Most of the extra length in a 2+2 is between the door and the rear wheel arch I think?
