And a hey hey from Matt at around 3.50

I would post a video of my session but when we packed me and Matt took each others video cameras home besides i cant show what else is on his camera lol, im going to pick mine up soon and put here no spins on this one but there again no blue Zs following me with a water cannon on me back wheels, john you gave it away when you said " he'll be off on the next bend" lol

I discovered that the M3 Z could brake late into the bends and wiggle round quite quick, looking forward to get the suspension set up as i only done it with string and sticks and have a proper rolling road session but need to quieten the exhausts down first cant believe how it sounds like an l6 in the video

Great in car footage from Johns car good drive, as for Terry's spin also great driving as i think his sat-nav didn't recognise the circuit and told him to turn around where possible:lol: well done guys looked fantastic well done to Terry for getting your car done on time

Just to put things in perspective re Terry and John (I know they are only having a laugh by the way) - I have entered La Source hairpin in 2011 only to find John had spun in exactly the same place as Terry did this year. Reason - engine overheating and spun on radiator overflow water.

Terry your engineering skills were put to the test and you have no better recommendation than driving to Spa 7 hours after finishing the car and it running faultlessly and quick!.

We can tend to overlook Darren's car here too - lovely.

Some of you may think 'what about the race meeting' - it was fantastic! My favourite car was an Escort Mk1, very very quick and driven by a 68 yr old guy. His best time at Spa is 2.51.

Car currently for sale at 95000 euro. RS1600 but 2 ltr BDG engine.

With regard to the 68 yar old guy in the escort. It's just not a fair comparison. He's had longer to practice than me. When I'm 68 I think my times will have come way down there with his.

As a short comment: Spa Classic 2014 was FANTASTIC!
The sunshine was ideal.
The cars were stunning, both yours on the club area and as all the historic ones on the track!
But the best of all was the people coming: Thanks to all of you guys! It was a pleasure once more! Let's hope the group is enlarging year after year!

Here are some videos of my track sessions:

As discussed, you will see that my clutch is slipping.
The initial preparation in UK had a 6 puck clutch implemented, but the previous owner considered that it was too hard for the street drive with "ON/OFF" situations at stoplights in town! He replaced it with a standard organic clutch, and his tires were so old that the slip was on wheels!
The car is a good 500 Bhp at wheels from previous dyno's, so I talked with Fairlady300 members here in France, and they indicated me the Speciality Z clutch as follows:

SZ/RPS High 5 puck

SZ/RPS Flywheel
http://specialtyz.com/shop/default/sz-flywheel-vg30de-tt.html

John and Matt, what do you think?
Thanks for your comments and possible solutions from UK if any?

Nice video here if you have 15 mins this is how it should be done

any one know the 240

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFjVov1qZIQ

There are two 240Zs. One (Red) is the Miroux brothers who Sean (and Sylvain?) know well. I don't know the white/Red car. See video at 15.20 and 15.30. They are featured elsewhere in it too of course but close together here.

I do actually like to see classic cars sliding and drifting as they would have done in period. My old car was really nice to balance on the throttle and steering mid-corner. You lose that when you fit big sticky tyres. That slo-mo film captures the sliding really well.
