Hi, interested in your Kevlar doors, could you give me an honest opinion of the sort of quality and fit they are. I was looking at the Marugan Shaukia doors from Japan, but the price of importing them puts me off, but if it is the only way to go I will have to go that way.

Thank you.

Yes I have seen them on RHDJapan and they do look nice.

My doors were UK sourced as far as I am aware, the quality was not brilliant as I filled the tops of the door to get a better shape but the fit was fairly good but I was happy with them for my project as i have used a lot of GRP panels which will never look as good as standard steel panels ,i had to file some material from where the hinges mount on the door but they quite a bit lighter than GRP doors as I have a set of them as well so I could compare.

I would imagine the Marugan doors will be good quality they look better than my Kevlar doors but Albrecht would be the best person to ask as he knows all, about things japanese regarding 240Z etc

Truly stunning!!!!

So, here's a thought, when the insurance company ask "any modifications?" how long do you spend on the phone!? :p

Also with all that superb attention to detail in weight saving, I trust you feel guilty if you don't wear Lycra and shave before driving the car!?

Haha @ Smiley ... !

Love those Nimrod hose/line separators (or whatever they're called) - I bet they're engineered to within an inch of their life as well.

I will have a big list of mods ready when on the phone and hopefully I won't have to go on a diet !!!!!
