They won't remain rare if you bring them out 2 at a time!

You have been busy - nice work and 'solid' cars (apart from the lightening holes).

Looks like you had a busy weekend!

I remember the lights from your old Z. Liked them then and still do.

What lightweight panels are you using?

It has taken many busy weekends since i came back from OZ to get to this stage
Carbon bonnet ,GRP tailgate, kevlar doors (quite a bit lighter than GRP ones,GRP wings,GRP scuttle panel.just need a lightweight tailgate spoiler as the factory spolier is quite heavy or don't fit one.

Rob ,not so much lightening holes but the rear valance is like a big scoop so hopefully less wind resistance.

Mmmm not sure about that mod. Shame to spoil a rear valance really. Aren't you having a petrol tank and exhaust under there. A bit of 'ally' plate might have been better.

If it's going to be hollow under there then drilling holes is going to encourage air to travel through them - if it's blocked off the air will pack in there and fill it for you?

Also you might encourage lift (unless you think you've got a diffuser effect ).

Anyway I'm no aerodynamics expert.

great job ! 2 at a time to !

I'm so glad I built my rotisserie makes it so much easier, Mines finally going for paint soon to, been let down by one paint shop already though, and its going white also,

are they both OG RHD shell's ? just asking because one shell appears to have the rear side markers

They do look good for RHD shells, and I Have just noticed the first picture which answers my own question

Franky, it was just easier to do it that way as the waterbased stonechip was black and I did not want to paint over it and I like the look.
Rob, its a good job you did not bet as you would have lost money.
Atomman, the rotisserie is the best way to do these especially for welding and comes in handy for sand blasting and painting.
One car is LHD to rhd conversion and the other is a genuine rhd car.

Ok yep so good job. So the RHD car is the track car? I thought I saw some bodywork behind the filled-in fuel flap area where the 'running light' would have been (Post 6). Should have gone to Specsavers! It will be interesting to see what weight it ends up at.
