So it sold at ACA for £14k-odd last May and is now up for £40k?

Dreamer!
Classic dealer move. FFS.

I’d add - eBay has become a bit of a joke for Z sales. Most on there are priced ridiculously, have horrible ad copy, and are lingering for months/years.

That white one has been there for about two years or more,he had a green/yellow one at same time,I asked him if that was a misprint in the asking price

That white one is an auto isn’t it. Even with that I’m surprised it’s not gone, even at that price! Two years or more is a looooong time for a car to be on ebay.

Assuming you mean the black bonnet one, he bought it for half the current price. 100% markup isn’t a good look, especially when people are paying attention!

He’d stand a better chance if the slush box was junked for a 5-speed or SX box. Considering the markup, he’d hardly be out of pocket spending £££ to make it more desirable.

Yeah he bought the lime green one at same time and was asking stupid money at the time but that went after being up a long time for sale

The lime green one was the nicer of the pair for sure. The lack of a sale for this one really should be telling him something about the price or the car.

For Christian's car there's residual value in the RHD parts though, feels like the red one went way too cheap.

Bottom line is I think those with more than half a pea for a brain know roughly wot our cars are worth in the real world I just hope some poor sod doesn’t get ripped off because he/she doesn’t know the real value of wot a Zed is worth

I paid similar for my GS30 18 months ago and still feel it's worth over 20k (and is insured as such) especially as it has 100k less km on it. I think £25k would be a fair "try it" price for a mint gs30 with low miles, very original. Expect to be knocked back a bit.
