1jz 240z conversion / restoration ish

well i been doing it for a while now, havent posted it up as not much of a writer, ill start by interducing my self my name is mark and im 23 years old and a mechanic who has big plans, please leave your feedback and any suggestions will taken onboard, i probily wont write alot on this thread but will keep you up to date on the photos

how the dickens do i upload the photos ive probily got about 30-50 ish to upload is the a easy way of doing this?????????????

Dead simple, when you reply click the "Manage Attachments" tab to find your pics and upload via that

If you click on Go Advanced in the text box and look for the Manage Attachments option, you can upload 10 at a time

started the roll cage, and cut the boot floor out for the fuel cell and battery tray

Looking good Mark. Not sure when you are going to mock up for the 1JZ/R154 but you will find things are a bit tight in the tunnel. Now would be a good time to make a bit more room in this area.

thanks for your replys, my plan was to first restore it to its origanle glory, my dad has owned it for 25 years and been off the road since 1988 and decided to give it to me for my 21st birthday what a nice bloke , so i was going to put the l24 back in it on 40's but thought it would cost about a £1k to get the engine to the spec i wanted so cut a long story short i bought a soarer for £800 and thats alot more power for less cash, ive already bought a shed load of stuff i dont need anymore and will list the parts up for sale on the forsale thread,

my plans are to bin off the twins and change it to a big single im aiming for around the 450 500 bhp mark, probily going to buy the apexi power fc, bigger injecters and a exteranl waste gate and a straight throu 3inch exhaust so should sound the bomb! time is not a issue as im not in a hurry to get it on the road probily be finished in about 2 years i hope unless i win the lottery, ive alread bought the front brakes from arizona z car and will be buying the rears and coilover kit from him unless anyone knows for a nice set of coilovers?

ive already bought the paint for it its going frozen white (ford colour) with carbon fiber bumpers and over arches and de chromed, ill be working on it again at the weekend so ill up load some more pics when i get a bit more done
