What a difference from the very first photos you posted, and mainly just from a damn good clean and polish, looks amazing.

2 steps forward and 1 step back:

Bonnet and wing back from paint so the exterior is close to done, just need to install the tailgate cap and "Lightning" decals.

Probably from sitting all those years, now the front auto box pump is leaking so the transmission needs to come out......going to go ahead and have the whole thing rebuilt since I have to go that far.....I don't want to remove it again. O'well it is what it is i guess!!!!!!!

It'll do very well on BaT Mike, I'm sure - good choice. Got my eye on a 4.7 Dakota over here with an engine knock. Suspect it may be a lack of oil in the lifters after standing for six months. Going for a song, potentially.

When will this go on BaT do you think?

BAT in a week or so maybe????? Up to BAT really.
If you need me to source a 4.7 engine here in the states let me know...or will you just have it rebuilt there???

The first Gen lightnings are all over the place depending on mileage and condition of course.
I'm thinking that this should hit $12k pretty easy and could top out at $18K. That being said I would think $14 to $16K is fairly attainable.
Guess we'll see.
