Hi Carl,

There's a European company that have just started doing reproduction fuel tanks. I haven't seen any user reviews but they certainly look nice.

The Rota RKR is a 'fake' wheel, inspired by the Watanabe RS R-Type. There's also the Japan Racing JR19's and Atara Racing Pitangs that are all very similar in design.

15" would look nice witht hose tyres. 8" width isn't too crazy. What's important is to get the correct offset to ensure the wheels sit at the appropriate width - e.g. so they're not poked in or out too much. ET0 is pretty good on a 15" wheel.

15x8 ET0 225/50 works well.

Another Scottish z member... I went with Datfun Atara 14in rims which are shod in 14 205x60 tyres which sit well imho.

For a car that clean I would consider going for watanabes, prices it recently and was just about a grand.

Just shod mine in JR19s 14x7 ET0 with dunlop 195 70 14 tyres. They came to about £600 all in including the nuts.

I originally tried 15x8 but found that they stuck out too far from the arches especially on the front so they had to go back. I have seen that size on other s30s and they look fine so it must be a thing with my car. The problem with the 14 inch rims is that tyres choice is really limited.

Concur with farmer. outwith the historic Michelin’s (about a grand a set) the tyre choices for 14 are very limited. Nankang NS2 on mine which is the only main brand tyre I could find.

Yokohama now doing historics as well I hear.
