Hi all,

Thought I would get around to finally making an introduction and say hi.

I bought ray100s car just over a year ago, blasted around in it for a few months and then decided to do a full bare metal restoration. Its been stripped and acid dipped.

Just received 2 rear quarters, two front inner wings and radiator panels from the states so the body restoration can start properly next week.

Plans are to make it as good as I can with the budget I have (which isn't massive) and also go down the stroker route. Thought I would be going RB but that L series engine is a cracker and just love it so it is definitely staying! Theme is doings things right and only once, performance and handling enhancements on standard body rather than wide arches (as cool as they look!) and there certainly wont be any 'stance' or 'stretch'!

Already spoke to a few very helpful people on here so big thanks to them for all the help and advice (they know who they are), I think its going to be handy being 20 minutes away from Star Motorsport!

There is a FB page for the build which is here:

I will be keeping this updated to save repeating things in a few places and hope to get along to a few shows.

Look forward to seeing a few of you around. If anyone knows any history of the car please let me know, would love to know more about it (was told it used to be DJs Racecar!?)

Thanks
Ryan
